Perfect Pair- Ann Arbor
Perfect Pair is an organization created by University of Michigan students and alumni that fosters one-on-one connections between older adults at assisted living facilities and college students. Founded in summer 2020 a U-M graduate, with other students, the organization has over 52 matches, about 100 college student volunteers and seven partner communities in Ann Arbor, Saline, Farmington and Northville. The older adults’ ages range from the late 60s to 90s. Through an extensive matching process that considers background, hobbies, and interests, college volunteers are paired with a older adult in a local assisted living community.
